1. The Service

SVGDuck provides a free online tool for converting raster images (PNG, JPEG, WebP) to scalable vector graphics (SVG) using AI-powered vectorization. We also maintain a library of free SVG files available for download. By using this service, you agree to these terms.

2. Acceptable Use

You agree to use SVGDuck responsibly and not to:

  • Upload images that contain illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Upload images that you do not have the right to use or convert
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits or abuse the conversion service
  • Use automated bots, scrapers, or other tools to mass-download SVG files or abuse the API
  • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or interfere with the service or its infrastructure
  • Use the service for any purpose that violates applicable laws or regulations

3. Usage Limits

  • Free Conversions: Each user is limited to 3 image-to-SVG conversions per day, tracked by IP address.
  • Rate Limiting: API requests are limited to 10 per minute to ensure fair usage for all users.
  • File Limits: Uploaded images must not exceed 10 MB in size.
  • We reserve the right to adjust usage limits at any time.

4. Intellectual Property

  • Your Uploads: You retain all rights to images you upload. We do not claim ownership of your uploaded content.
  • Conversion Results: SVG files generated from your uploads belong to you. You are responsible for ensuring you have the necessary rights to the source images.
  • SVG Library: SVG files in our library are provided under the CC0 1.0 Universal (Public Domain) license unless otherwise stated. You may use them freely for personal and commercial projects.
  • SVGDuck Branding: The SVGDuck name, logo, and website design are our property and may not be copied or reproduced.

5. Conversion Results

  • Completed conversions are stored on our servers and accessible via unique URLs.
  • Conversion results are not private. Anyone with the URL can view and download the SVG.
  • We do not guarantee permanent storage of conversion results and may remove old conversions at our discretion.

6. No Warranty

Important: SVGDuck is provided "as is" without any warranties.

  • We do not guarantee the quality, accuracy, or completeness of conversion results. SVG output may vary depending on the complexity and quality of the input image.
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability or uptime.
  • We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of converted SVG files.
  • Conversion results should be reviewed before use in production environments.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SVGDuck and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities arising from the use of or inability to use the service.

8. Service Modifications

  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.
  • We reserve the right to block or restrict access for users who violate these terms.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of SVGDuck after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Austria. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Klagenfurt, Austria.
